Mississauga woman, 62, charged in multi-vehicle crash

A 62-year-old woman has been charged after last Friday’s massive multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga that left nearly two dozen people injured.

On Oct. 25, a black SUV collided with more than a dozen vehicles before crashing into a hydro pole on Dundas Street East, approaching Jaguar Valley Road.

More than 20 people were injured including the accused. But all the injuries were considered minor.

Joycelyn Johnson of Mississauga was charged with dangerous operation causing bodily harm on Thursday, and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 3 in Brampton.

At 6 p.m. on Oct. 25, the accused was driving a black SUV on Dundas Street East, approaching Jaguar Valley Road, when it collided with more than a dozen vehicles before crashing into a hydro pole.
