December 29, 2013 – National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) Mississauga Power

(London, ON – ) The Mississauga Power continued on a six game skid in London today, falling 99-76 to the Lightning. Dwight McCombs’ 24 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks were not enough as the Power were outscored 32-15 in the final quarter. Marvin Phillips led the Lightning with 22 points.

The Power managed to outplay the Lightning in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to just 4 points heading into the final quarter. The Lightning however, would have a strong quarter, outplaying the Power both on offense and defense. The home team cruised to a 99-76 victory after outscoring the Power by 17 points in the final quarter.

The Power travel to Windsor on January 3rd to face the Express before returning home on the 4th to face the Ottawa SkyHawks.
